Visitors, welcome to Resurrection Lutheran Church

We welcome to all who gather with us on Sunday. Some are first time attendees, and some are long time members, but we all long to be reminded that we are children of God. God graciously meets us in the Word and the Sacraments this day and makes possible our prayerful, musical worship. God's work of shaping lives for serving others is begun anew.

+ All are encouraged to fill out the Welcome Folder (the blue folder located in the pew) and send it down the pew for all to participate.

+ If this is your first Sunday with us, a special welcome to you! Please fill out one of the Visitor Cards located in the pew rack and place the card in the offering plate. We do not expect visitors to feel as if they must give financially to the ministry of this congregation. Members of Resurrection are called upon to serve in this way. If you want to know more about membership. ask the pastor!

+ If this is your first Sunday with us at Resurrection, have you received your gift of our appreciation yet? Ask an usher or a pastor about it!

+ Childcare is provided in our "Timber Tot" nursery. The nursery is located down the north hall (past the restrooms) and to the right where you will find friendly and helpful childcare providers. Childcare is available for our 9:15am and 11:00am Worship Services. Children's Bulletins are also available (please see an usher for a special bulletin)

+ Holy Communion is open to baptized persons of all denominational backgrounds, including children who have received prior instruction. Please indicate your intention to receive the bread and the wine or grape juice with open hands. Folded hands will be a sign that you choose to receive a blessing rather than the bread and wine. (Holy Communion is served on the 1st and 3rd Sundays during worship, and the 2nd, 4th, and 5th, Sundays in the chapel following the 11 :00 a.m. Service.)

+ Our Lutheran Christian heritage is filled with statements of faith and liturgies which mayor may not be familiar to you. Most often, however, what brings us to worship are some basic acknowledgements that life is difficult, God is good, and we need each other.

In the name of God --- Father, Son. and Holy Spirit --- Welcome!
