GROWING IN HIS CARE WELCOME The Children's Ministry Committee at Resurrection Lutheran Church wishes to welcome you to our preschool program and to acquaint you with our policies and procedures. We also thank you for letting us us care for and teach you little ones. SCHOOL OBJECTIVES We seek to provide a nurturing environment and learning experience which will be appropriate to the individual need and interests of the children. Our curriculum is designed to promote self-esteem and self-confidence, creativity, language development, cognitive skills, fine and gross motor skills, and social skills in an atmosphere of love and acceptance. We strive to help children grow in the knowledge that they are each a special child of God. ADMISSION POLICY Resurrection Preschool admits students of any sex, race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, tuition policies and other school administered programs. ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS Child must be toilet trained and of age three by September 1. Enrollment form completed and registration fee paid in full. Certificate of Immunization Status must be completed and returned prior to beginning class. TUITION Registration - $50.00 non-refundable fee One combined class for children ages 3 and 4 Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday mornings 9:00 - 11:30 (Class size limited to 14 students, with 2 teachers)
Tuition is computed for the entire school year and divided into equal monthly payments for your convenience. There is no refund or credit for absences. Tuition is due the first week of the month unless arrangements for another payment date are made. Your cooperation in this will be greatly appreciated. Your tuition may be sent to the church (1700 NE 132nd Avenue, Portland, OR 97230) or you may take it to the church office. Please makes checks payable to Resurrection Preschool. A late fee of $10.00 will be charged for tuition paid after the 10th of the month unless a different payment date has been arranged through the office. A fee of $30.00 will be charged for checks returned for non-sufficient funds. A two week written notice must be given if it is necessary to withdraw your child from school.
